Raven Reflections

Eva grabbed hold of her and guided her to a seat on the bed. “I’ll take care of the injury. Bert is saddling and loading the horses.” She left the room.

*Morgan, we spotted two Shadows, but they are acting oddly.*

*What do you mean by odd?* She watched Eva return carrying bandages and a bottle of whiskey.

*They appear to have difficulty moving. Merla thinks she spotted a human form within the Shadow.*

*Let me think about that for a moment. Can you see Bert and Raven?*

*They’re heading back to the house.*

*Thanks.* She turned her attention to the older woman. “Do what you have to, Eva.” She turned her head.

“You’re lucky the arrow has a small arrowhead. I would say it was used for hunting small game.”

“Real lucky.” A wave of pain shot through her arm and up her neck. Dizziness fought with nausea…
